I'm back!
After an extended hiatus due to packing and moving, I am back!
So let's get right to it. I love Idaho and my new city. Wonderful people!
Michael Vick is getting off light. Miss Teen South Carolina is an idiot and further proof that No Child Left Behind is NOT working. I am sad to report that my fish Deuce and Hilly Kristal passed away on the same day. Both did great things for the world.
Here is what I was going to post prior to moving by my internet connection was closed sooner than expected.
I went to Target to get a couple supplies for moving. They gave me a plastic bag (not a fan) for my stuff. However, when I set it on the seat next to me I noticed that it listed 10 different ways to re-use the bag. I give them props for that. Here is said list:
1. Tiny Trashcan Liner
2. Doggie Duty (AMEN!)
3. Water Balloon
4. Roadtrip Rubbish
5. Soggy Laundry
6. Ice Pack For Head Lump
7. Toiletry Tote
8. Kitty Litter Liner
9. Tomorrow's Lunchbag
10. Care Package Padding
I am proud to say that I used 2 target bags for 5 of those.
Finally, on to the BIG news story here in Boise (other than the Boise State home opener tonight on the Blue Turf).
Sen. Craig. Should he have solicited sex in an airport bathroom? No. Should he resign? No. I think everyone is blowing it way of out proportion (himself included). But my biggest problem is that all the Christian right-wing Republicans are condemning him for his actions and throwing him to the wolves, lions, badgers, or any other carnivorous mammal you can think of. Amazingly I have not heard one, NOT ONE, Con-Christian mention that he should be forgiven of any wrong-doing. Nope, they go right to condemnation and skip the whole Jesus forgives part. And, as a Christian, that bothers me. If we can only judge and never forgive, who do we expect God to do the same for us?
